A large multi-national logistics and distribution company turned to Walz Label and Mailing Systems to help with inbound and outbound large package shipments. With 1 million square feet of storage, 24 consolidation and warehousing facilities, in 24 different locations across 15 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, this company needed a cost effective solution that would handle a broad range of package requirements. The SPS 4C XL is an affordable solution, and extremely accurate due to the proven ultra-sonic technology utilized for measurements. The NTEP load cells guarantee accurate weighing up to 140#, and the maximum package size is 32” x 32” x 37” (LxWxH). The included software interface was able to meet almost all of their needs. At the customer’s request the software was modified for no additional cost to have 10 user defined fields for data entry instead of the 7 that came as standard. Now all customers benefit from the software enhancement. The unique keyboard wedge feature of the software interface allowed the customer to implement the devices into their existing WMS system with-out requiring expensive IT integration spending.
